Rockbund is a neighborhood renowned for its extensive collection of historical buildings. 11 notable landmarks include the former Royal Asiatic Society Building, former Associate Mission Building and former Capitol Theatre Building.

Rockbund is also famous for hosting the city's most popular Christmas Market.
