The Kremlin said Thursday that the world should know the truth as a Wednesday report claims US bombed Nord Stream gas pipelines. The veteran investigative journalist and Pulitzer winner Seymour Hersh alleges US Navy divers helped by Norway had planted explosives on the pipelines. The pipelines are multibillion-dollar infrastructure projects that pumps Russian gas to Germany under the Baltic Sea. A series of bombings and underwater gas leaks were reported last September. The sabotage released a record 150,000 tons of methane gas into the atmosphere.
